Any of you familiar with this project?

Vulcan to the Sky Trust

A team are valiently attempting to restore the last potentially flightworthy Vulcan back to flight capability.

A couple of us from flightglobal.com are off to check out their progress later this week and to speak to the chief engineer about the challenges and timescales of the project.

Has anyone got any questions they'd like me to put to him or anyone else on the team?

Kind regards,

Michael Targett

 Hi All,
Sitting in an office in Rugby and there are some very interesting
jet noises coming from the direction of Bruntingthorpe, I'm not a
betting man but I think that we are listening to a Vulcan doing engine
runs. It is about due to enter the final phase of testing around now,
the signs are all there of imminent flight. The web cam shows it as
being outside, and Notams have apparently been posted clearing the
local airspace in the next few days. Anybody got more firm information?
