Sukhoi have rolled out their Superjet 100 regional aircraft.
They're expected to get the aircraft in the air for the first time in October, however aircraft test flight schedules are notorious for delays.
It all leads quite nicely to our Question of the Week: Which will will fly first? Sukhoi Superjet 100 or Boeing 787.
If you've got something to add to the debate, now's the time ...

I thought the 787 first flight had been pushed back to the end of December?
If that's the case, then it looks like Sukhoi currently have the upper-hand.....
Vidi, Vici, Veni. I saw, I conquered, I came.
Goose:i also heard that SAS are now looking at the Superjet, with Itali Airlines placing an order to replace their MD-80s this could be the anwer to replace the SAS MD-80 fleet
Well, seeing as SAS seem to have a fetish for operating every type of aircraft that ever rolled off a production line, I can't see why they'd turn their collective noses up at the Superjet. If the latest fiasco with the Q400 carries on much longer, they're going to have to find something to replace it pretty damn quick
