Boeing Canada in Winnipeg Manitoba build Engine Strut Aft Fairings for the Next-Generation 737, 747, 767 and 777. Engine Strut Aft Fairings cover strut mechanisms that hold the engine on the airplane under the wing. Aft Fairings must withstand great heat and vibration generated by aircraft engine exhaust. The Aft Fairings protect electronic and hydraulic systems inside the strut and optimize airflow behind the engine.
They also build Nose Gear Doors for the Next-Generation 737 and 767 airplanes, work also includes Shock Strut Doors for the 767 and 777.
It would be nice to see a job gain at Boeing Canada for the increased work coming from this contract.
