Fuel charges are being dropped like flies today as the price of oil slowly comes down to more "reasonable" levels, but what i'm intrigued about is whether airlines are as prepared to stomach the price of oil as readily when it inevitably goes up again, especially when economic conditions mean that people are more reluctant than ever to put their hands in their pockets over the odds for things.
Airlines cannot keep incurring costs but people are unlikely to stomach more expensive tickets, it is most definitely a tricky situation!
