Due to repair work being carried out on one of the main taxiways leading from the end of the runway at Manchester - An Emirates Airline Boeing 777-300ER makes an incredibly fast landing so that it can vacate the runway earlier than normal.

Under normal circumstances the plane would carry on down the runway and would have to travel back up the taxiway which can be seen in the front and to the right of the plane at around 1:29.

If the plane didn't vacate the runway where it did - it would have been trapped at the end of the runway until enough time was available for it to taxi back up the runway.

Nothing significant in itself - planes perform quick landings to vacate runways earlier all the time, however what is significant is the following:

1) The plane touches its main landing gear down much later than is normal at Manchester Airport.

2) The front landing gear does not touch down for an even longer and unusual period of time.

3) The reverse thrusters are only opened several seconds after all wheels touch down and only for a short time just moments before the plane begins to vacate the runway.
