Santiago, Chile based SKY Airline, which operates a fleet of thirteen Advanced model Boeing 737-200s on domestic and regional services, plans to introduce two former TACA Airbus A320-232s (reg CC-ABV, serial 1400 and CC-ABW, serial 1523) into service in June 2010. The aircraft have been acquired from Aviation Capital Group and will be operated both on charter flights and on heavy traffic scheduled services within Chile and to La Paz, Boliva and Arequipa,Peru. The airline was previously thought to be interested in acquiring Airbus A319s.
