The Palma de Mallorca-based cargo specialist, previously known as Futura International's cargo subsidiary; Flyant, is reported to be advertising its services again as of 22 June 2010. Flyant suspended operations following the demise of the Futura Group in September 2008. Services briefly resumed two months later, but were suspended again after acquisition by the Barcelona-based logistics company New Iberital in January 2009. The airline then adopted the trade name Saicus Air. The reactivated fleet is expected to consist of the two former Flyant Boeing 737-300SFs (reg EC-JUV, serial 23741, and EC-KDJ / 23743), which have been in storage at Dinard for over a year, although the company is also believed to be offering a single, former Pronair, McDonnell Douglas MD-87 (reg EC-KRV, serial 49843) for charter services, which would indicate that the carrier will for the first time be operating passenger flights.
