Airlines Suspending Operations: Vyborg

The Russian charter airline and specialist operator of the Ilyushin IL-114 turboprop has had its Operating Certificate suspended by Rosaeronavigatsia for the second time in two years. Vyborg, named after the historic medievel town to the north of its St. Petersburg base, confirmed to me only last month that they had resumed operations as a pure charter carrier in early 2009 after having their Operating Certificate suspended in October 2008, due to unpaid navigation fees. The reason for the latest suspension is not yet known.
