Airline Start-Ups: Airlinair to launch new wet-leasing subsidiary in Portugal

Lisbon-based Airlinair Portugal - Serviços Aéreos S.A., which was founded in 2008 by the French regional carrier in association with Portuguese investors, plans to launch operations as an ACMI leasing specialist before the end of this year. The start-up will use the first two of five planned ATR42s and ATR72s (reg CS-DTN, serial 93, an ATR42-300, and CS-DTO, serial 95, an ATR42-320), which are to be transferred over from the parent carrier this month (September).
