The Palma de Mallorca-based start-up airline was formed in the summer by a group of Italian investors and former employees of defunct carriers LTE and Myair. The company initially offered passenger charter and ACMI leasing services in the Spanish and Italian markets with a single Boeing 737-400 (reg EC-LAV, serial 24352). Alba Star is expanding its service offering to include cargo operations, following the arrival of its second aircraft, a former Flyant and Saicus Air Boeing 737-400(F) (reg EC-KKJ, serial 24559). Both aircraft are leased from RPK Capital.
