The Danish charter and wet-leasing specialist received the aircraft, a Boeing 737-700 (reg OY-JTZ, serial 29083) on lease from the Pembroke Group, on 28 February 2011. Jet Time launched services in March 2006 and initially specialised in operating Boeing 737-300s, building up a fleet of five, for use primarily on IT (Inclusive Tour) charters. The carrier also operated two ex Sterling 737-500s for a time and briefly leased a larger 737-400 for the last summer season. Jet Time expanded its service offering in February 2010, when the arrival, on lease from GECAS, of its first "Quick Change" model 737-300QC, (reg OY-JTF, serial 24364) allowed it to enter the cargo charter market.
