Airline Start-Ups: Air Berlin to launch Turkish leisure carrier

Air Turkya will be the name of Air Berlin's planned new Antalya-based leisure airline. Details are sparse, but the new carrier is expected to launch holiday charter services between Turkey and Germany in the winter of 2011, utilising an initial fleet of three Boeing 737-800s, which will be sourced from the fleet of its German parent airline.
