Fleet Plan News: Cargolux to receive the first Boeing 747-8 freighter

The cargo company will be the launch customer for the new Boeing 747-8F with the first aircraft (reg LX-VCB, serial 35806) being delivered on 19 September and the second (reg LX-VCD, serial 35809) two days later. Cargolux was also the first operator of the Boeing 747-400F as well. The airline will use the new aircraft to increase its capacity as it seeks to maintain its growth.
