Airline Start-Ups: ECAir – Equatorial Congo Airlines receives its first Boeing 737

The Congolese start-up carrier has received its first aircraft, a Boeing 737-306 (reg HB-JJB, serial 27421). The former KLM aircraft will be operated by PrivatAir to avoid being included on the list of airlines banned in the European Union. The airline will initially operate a three times daily Brazzaville – Pointe Noire service. Contact details so far are limited:
