Plovdiv based start-up cargo charter airline Air Bright received its first aircraft, an Antonov 26 (reg YL-RAC, serial 9903) on 10 October 2011. The aircraft, which is wet-leased from Latvian carrier RAF-Avia, is now available for ad-hoc cargo charter flights and short or long term leases, worldwide. Privately-owned Air Bright was established in March 2006 as an air cargo charter broker by several former managers of the defunct Sofia based cargo airline, Bright Aviation Services. The airline is currently working to secure its European AOC, on receipt of which it plans to operate its own aircraft. Contact details are:
