Airline Start-Ups: P.C. Air receives first A310

The new Thai charter airline is planning to launch "convenient scheduled charter" flights linking Bangkok with Osaka, Seoul and Tokyo and major Chinese cities including Hong Kong. The carrier, which was awarded its AOC earlier this year, received the first of two planned Airbus A310s (reg RDPL-34181, serial 419). The aircraft, a Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7R4D powered A310-200, is leased from Singapore based Phoenix Aircraft Leasing and is currently parked awaiting entry into service at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport.
