Aircraft Orders: FedEx expected to place large order for 767-300Fs

Following news that the company had concluded its negotiations with Airbus over a possible order for a large fleet of A330-200F freighters, reports from the USA suggest that FedEx will shortly place an order worth over $5.2 billion at list prices with Boeing for around 30 Boeing 767-300F freighters. FedEx had previously been in discussions with both planemakers over a potential order for up to 50 new widebody freighters, however the order was deferred and is expected to be scaled back following a lower profits forecast.
