Seen at the Gordon Bennett 2010 media launch are the GB pilots L-R Simon Carey (co-pilot), David Hempleman-Adams, Don Cameron of Cameron Balloons, Dr Janet Folkes and Dr. Colin Butter. The Gordon Bennet Race is the oldest aeronautical race dating back to 1906. 2010 will see the gas balloons take off from Bristol, UK, the first time the race has been held in the UK. 22 teams from 12 countries are scheduled to take part in the race, the rules are simple fly as far as you can from the launch point and the gas balloons will fly non stop for 3-4 days
