April 25, 1962 - This cloud at 65 miles altitude was made when a Saturn rocket carrying 95 tons of water was deliberately destroyed after its first stage powered flight. The experiment known as Project "High Water" is expected to give scientists much data about the upper atmosphere and its effects on water masses.
