The nose of North American F-86K-18-NF c/n 213-53/10 with U.S. fiscal year serial number 54-1283 of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) as displayed at the Military Aviation Museum near the former Soesterberg air base in The Netherlands. The photo was taken on 22 March 2012. The aircraft was phased out on 1 March 1973 and served for many years as gatekeeper at the former Twenthe air base. After this base closed in 2008 the aircraft was moved to the Military Aviation Museum (in Dutch: Militaire Luchtvaart Museum or MLM).
