Rear view of Beechcraft D18S-3NM c/n A-904 PH-KHV with pseudo military Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) registration G-29 taxiing at Gilze-Rijen Air Base in The Netherlands on 5 July 2011. The aircraft actually never flew with the Dutch Air Force. PH-KHV was built in 1952 for the Royal Canadian Air Force as VIP-aircraft and navigation trainer. The aircraft was acquired by the Royal Netherlands Air Force Historic Flight (in Dutch: "Koninklijke Luchtmacht Historische Vlucht") on 4 March 2003 from the Dutch Dakota Association, which wanted to concentrate on DC 3s and Dakotas. The aircrraft was built as a T-7 Navigator, but as it was modified to civilian standards by Bristol Aerospace Canada. In 1970 it was given the civilian designation D18. Gilze-Rijen AB is the home of the RNLAF Historic Flight.
