General Dynamics (Lockheed) F-16A Block 20 MLU c/n 6H-110 with tailniumber A-110 of the Belgian air force solo display has just started its take-off run at Leeuwarden Air Base in The Netherlands (EHLW) during the Open Days of the Dutch Air Force on 17 September 2011. Construction number 6H-110 was assigned by Lockheed Martin, but the aircraft was manufactured by Belgian aerospace company SABCA with local c/n FA-110. The aircraft can also be identified by the number 87-0054. This is the appropriation number of the US senate, which has to approve all exports and foreign production of US military equipment. The first two digits indicate that production of this particular aircraft was appropriated by the US senate in 1987. The aircraft itself was delivered to the Belgian air force on 16 february 1989 as an F-16A Block 15AA OCU. It was converted to the F-16A Block 20 MLU standard in april 2010. It is operated by 349 squadron.
