Boeing 747-406 c/n 25087 (l/n 854) PH-BFK "City of Karachi" on its way to Schiphol Amsterdam airport in The Netherlands (EHAM) on 25 July 2012 at a height of 7000 ft and a speed of 288kts, carrying out flight KL892 from Changdu.. The aircraft first flew on 3 May 1991 and was delivered to KLM on 21 May 1991.
Froim this point of view the main difference with the A380 (see Belly Week link below) is the straight wing root of the 747, compared with the wavelike curve of the wing root of the A380.
