Arrival of Dutch Lockheed 749A Constellation c/n 2604 N749NL at Lelystad airport in The Netherlands (EHLE) on 28 September 28 2002 after a ferry flight from the United States. The aircraft was welcomed by a large crowd. The aircraft is now part of the collection of the Aviodrome aviation museum at Lelystad (National Aviation Theme Park Aviodrome), which brought the Connie to The Netherlands. It is painted in a pseudo-historic KLM-livery with pseudo registration PH-FLE, as the museum is located in the province of FLEvoland (see link below for more images of N749NL). The future of the Dutch Connie is uncertain, as the Aviodrome museum is on the brink of bankruptcy. Part of the collection may have to be sold.
