The deltashaped wing of Convair F-102 Delta Dagger c/n 8-10-269 is clearly visible in this image, taken at the Military Aviation Museum (in Dutch: Militaire Luchtvaart Museum or MLM) near the former Soesterberg air base in The Netherlands on 11 April 2012. The aircraft is painted to resemble USAF F-102 with serial number 56-1032 of the 32nd TFS that served at Soesterberg AB in the 1960s. The aircraft is actually the F-102 with serial number 56-1052, acquired by the Dutch museum from the Greek air force. It flew with the Greeks with tailnumber 06-1052. The Greek air force for its part repainted its F-102 with tailnumber 06-1059 to resemble 06-1052 that went to the Netherlands and displayed it at Elefsis air force base. The original Delta Dagger with serrial number 56-1032 was converted to a PQM-102B target drone in 1979 and crashed a little later, presumably shot down during an exercise. I took a ladder with me to get the wing well in view.
