Boeing AH-64D Apache c/n DN017 with tailnumber Q-17 of the Royal Netherlands Air Force with the 2011 livery of the Apache Solo Display hovering over Leeuwarden air base in The Netherlands (EHLW) after its display during the Open Days of the Dutch Air Force on 17 September 2011. Crew members are team captain Major Roland “Wally” Blankenspoor and first officer captain Paul “Wokkel” Webbink. Apache Q-17 started its service life with the Dutch Air Force on 12 January 2001. The Dutch Apaches serve with Dutch 301 squadron of the combined air force and navy Defence Helicopter Command.
