Fairchild C-119 Belgian AF CP-46 front fuselage 23042005
The impressive nose of Fairchild C-119G Flying Boxcar c/n 254 of the Belgian Air Force with tail number CP-46 and code OT-CEH in the aviation hall of the Belgian Army Museum in Brussels, photographed on 23 April 2005. The 46 C-119s operated by the Belgian Air Force were supplied by the U.S. under the Military Assistance Program in 1960. The aircraft were operated by the 15th Wing of the Belgian air force. Belgian paratroopers used the aircraft during operations in the then Belgian colony of Congo in 1960. The Belgian C-119s were phased out in 1973.
