Fokker 60 U-02 RNLAF taking off 15092005
Fokker 60 UTA-N c/n 20324 with tailnumber U-02 of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) taking off from Soesterberg AB in The Netherlands on September 15, 2005. The aircraft was named after Willem Versteegh who, in 1911, was the first licensed military pilot in the Dutch army. He became vice-president of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines after WW2. This particular aircraft first flew on January 24, 1996 and was delivered to the RNLAF on June 10, 1996. It is currently (november 2010) stored.
