Fokker 60 U-04 RNLAF in sunny spell 01072003
Fokker 60 UTA-N c/n 20329 with tailnumber U-04 of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) at Soesterberg AB in The Netherlands on July 1, 2002, in a sunny spell during the somewhat later very rainy celebration of 90 years of Dutch Air Force. The seemingly bunch of picnicers at the left is a group of model RNLAF aircraft builders waiting for the start of their performance. The aircraft was named "Jules Zegers" after lt. general Zegers, one of the leading officers in the build up of the Dutch Air Force after WW2. The aircraft first flew on June 20, 1996 and was delivered to the RNLAF on July 5 of the same year. The Dutch Air Force phased out the Fokker 60 and this particular aircraft is now stored.
