Former Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) Gloster Meteor c/n 6466 F.Mk.8 with its current registration 3W-32 on display at the Aviodrome museum at Lelystad airport in The Netherlands (EHLE) on 29 July 2012. The aircraft entered service with the RNLAF 322 squadron on 10 March 1953 and was phased out in 1957. It was used as gatekeeper at former RNLAF base Soesterberg and was finally bought by former Dutch air force and KLM pilot Aart van Wijk, who had flown the aircraft himself. He donated the Meteor to the Aviodrome museum. Aart van Wijk studied law in his spare time during his career with KLM and received a doctorate in law with his thesis about air accident investigation in The Netherlands.
