Boeing 757-23ASF c/n 24291 (l/n - or line number - 215) N917FD of Federal Express flying past my house in the evening sun of 26 June 2012 on its way to Schiphol Amsterdam airport in The Netherlands (EHAM). It is a familiar route for this aircraft, as it started its service life with now defunct Air Holland, based at Schiphol. After having flown with a number of airlines it went to Federal Express on 21 August 2008, which had it converted to the freighter version a year later. Note the FedEx slogan "The World on Time" on the nose.
