AgustaWestland AW139 c/n 31267 PH-PXY of the Aviation Department of the Dutch National Police Corps, almost overflying my house some 30 kilometers from Schiphol airport in The Netherlands on 1 July 2012, so I could take the picture sitting leasurely on my patio, a relaxed way of aircraft spotting which I can recommend. The undercarriage is retracted without covering doors into the nose and under the pontoonlike extensions on both sides of the fuselage. Note the Dutch police logo on the fuselage ("politie" is the Dutch word for police). The aircraft made its first flight as I--EASH and entered service with the Dutch police on 11 December 2009.
