Boeing 757-223 c/n 25295 (l/n 423) TF-ISL named "Öræfajökull" of Icelandair on short final over runway 27-09 at rainy Schiphol Amsterdam airport in The Netherlands (EHAM) on 20 September 2012, carrying out flight FI502 from Reykjavik. It was the aircraft's 18th visit to Schiphol. The aircraft first flew on 20 January 1990 and was first delivered to American Airlines as N661AA. It was stored in August 2011. Icelandair became the new operator on 27 March 2012 when it received its present registration TF-ISL.
