McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 c/n 46640 N233NW taxiing at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport in The Netherlands (EHAM) on 24 September 2005. The aircraft first flew on 25 July 1977 and was first put into service by Malaysia Airlines on 21 September 1977 as 9M-MAT. From 25 June 1994 it was operated by LOT Polish Airlines with the same registration, before it went to Northwest on 21st February 1996 as N233NW. The aircraft was stored at Opa Locka in June 2006 and there scrapped in January 2007. In 2008 Delta Airlines took over Northwest and early 2010 the trademark Northwest disappeared.
