Not always sunny: Fokker 70 PH-WXC 09042013
Hail the instruments, as airline flying usually starts and ends in unfavourable weather conditions. This is Fokker 70 c/n 11574 PH-WXC of KLM Cityhopper seconds after take-off from runway 09-27 at Schiphol Amsterdam airport in The Netherlands (EHAM/AMS) in low clouds on 9 April 2013 to carry out flight KL1591 to Bologna (BLQ/LIPE). Almost two weeks earlier I captured the same Fokker in bright sunlight on final to Schiphol (see links below). As the Fokker 70 is regarded by the certificating authorities as a derivative of the Fokker F28, the aircraft is officially registered as a Fokker F28 Mk0070. PH-WXC first flew on 24 December 1995 as PH-EZY and was first delivered to Avianova as I-REJI on 3 January 1996.. The aircraft is operated by KLM Cityhopper since 15 December 1997.
