Polish Lockheed-Martin F-16C Block 52 c/n JC-25 with tailnumber 4064 is manoeuvered into position to line up with the three other aircraft for the days' mission during NATO Frisian Flag 2012 at Leeuwarden air base in The Netherlands (EHLW) on 26 April 2012. They were scheduled for a departure all four after each other. But that was not to be. Before the aircraft on the right, Lockheed Martin F-16C block 52 c/n JC-26 with tailnumber 4065, could take off first, 4064 had turned back, apparently with some malfunction. Earlier, 4065 and F-16C block 52 c/n JC-35 with tailnumber 4074, performed an intruiging positioning manoeuver, which I dubbed "Polska Mazurka" in the caption with a photo posted earlier to AirSpace (see links below). The other aircraft in this picture is F-16C block 52 c/n JC-31 with tailnumber 4070. In the end, three Polish F-16s took off that day and all returned safely.
