The Royal Netherlands Air Force issued ear plugs to its guests and personnel during NATO exercise Frisian Flag 2012, but the soldier visible in front of this German Typhoon apparently did not expect the noise to be as deafening as it turned out the be at some meters from taxiway or runway. The aircraft is Luftwaffe Eurofighter EF.2000 S Typhoon c/n GS0049 with registration 30+66. The photo was taken on 26 April 2012.
