Sud Aviation SA 316B Alouette of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) with tailnumber A-247 taking off from Soesterberg AB in The Netherlands on September 15, 2005. The Alouette entered service with the RNLAF in 1964 and four are still in use with 300 squadron of the Defense Helicopter Command (DHC) of the Dutch Air Force. The four remaining Alouettes (A-247, A-275, A-292, and A-301) are now used for VIP-transport and painted in the royal blue livery for government VIP-transport (the colour is also used for government cars and the Queen's Royal Bus).
