Tail art on General Dynamics (Lockheed) F-16B Block 5 of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) with tailnumber J-265 of 313 squadron at Soesterberg AB in The Netherlands on September 17, 2008. The aircraft was displayed without engine This was the celebration aircraft in the Dutch F-16 fleet. It wears the special colour scheme to celebrate 50 years of NATO for the Tiger Meet excercise. Previously it had been painted in a colour scheme to celebrate 40 years of Dutch 313 squadron. At the time the photo was taken the aircraft was in storage at Soesterberg Air Base (which was closed in November 2008). J-265 has been handed over to the Dutch National Aerospace Laboratory (NLR or, in Dutch: Nationaal Lucht- en Ruimtevaartlaboratorium).
