The Dutch air force has phased out its very last Fokker aircraft, after having operated Fokker aircraft almost continuously since 1918. Fokker 50-120 c/n 20287 with tailnumber U-06 and name "Robbie Wijting" made its very last flight in Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) colors from its homebase Eindhoven airport (EHEH) to Lelystad airport on 7 September 2012. Sistership U-05 had already arrived there on 5 September. Both aircraft will receive the livery of their new, as yet undisclosed, owner by well-known aircraft painter QAPS (Quality Aircraft Painting Services). The aircraft was delivered to the Dutch air force on 22 November 1996.
