Boeing AH-64D Apache c/n DN017 with tailnumber Q-17 of the Royal Netherlands Air Force with the 2011 livery of the Apache Solo Display at Leeuwarden air base in The Netherlands (EHLW) during the Open Days of the Dutch Air Force on 17 September 2011. Crew members are team captain Major Roland “Wally” Blankenspoor and first officer CPT Paul “Wokkel” Webbink. Apache Q-17 started its service life with the Dutch Air Force on 12 January 2001. Every two years an other Apache serves with the Solo Display team. In 2009 and 2010 Apache Q-19 was the star of the team. The Apaches serve with Dutch 301 squadron of the combined air force and navy Defence Helicopter Command.
