China Airlines departing Los Angeles international airport (LAX), heading for home. This Boeing B747-400 "Jumbo Jet" is painted in the special Boeing hybrid house/airline colour scheme known as the Dreamliner scheme. The shot is taken from the Imperial Hill, a location famous to aviation enthusiasts, in El Segundo which offers brilliant views over the airport. Note also the rare sight of blue sky over Los Angeles (rather than smog) after large storm the previous day. This makes the Hollywood sign easily visible in the distance.
