Indeed Hawker (or Armstrong-Whitworth depending on mark)

Sea Hawk.

Quite probably the pilots first flight as the engine is running (note the open aux air doors).

Aircraft XE346/J485 would serve aboard HMS Eagle during the Suez Crisis 1956.

First 36 airframes were manufactured by Hawker with subsequent production transferred to Amstrong Whitworth.
