F-104 Starfighter main landing gear (rear view) .....

The man is apparently probing if the wing leading-edge is really razor sharp .....

..... I confess ..... I made the same thing with a F-104B displayed at Le Bourget in 1959 .....

The YF-104A roll-out again. Though not razor sharp the leading edges could take large chunks of scalp if you were inattentive when ducking under the wings.

If not razor sharp, surely sharp as a knife's blade .....

The wing leading-edge was protected by a cover, but a small piece near the fuselage was free so I tested it and, I can confirm, it was sharp .....
