I deleted the earlier file as I could see it was out of order. This was my own decision, I was not asked, or ordered to by anyone else, and Mr, Leek does not police me on the site, although he WAS right in this instance. I apologies if this caused offense.
Sorry flyer1, you've misunderstood me! I did not think the image you posted was offensive - I thought it was great! I could see the irony in the point you were making in respect of defence cuts and my comment was meant to add to that irony, with a touch of subtle humour!
Mrs flyer1 was right, leading off with my mouth instead of engaging brain, I misunderstood your comment, and it is ME who must apologies. But depicting our Armed Forces as I did Was out of order. It is no excuse but as you understand it is a touchy subject, but I have no right to take out my frustrations on you, or anyone else. Mrs flyer1 had sent me to Bradford, or was it Coventry, until I have posted this comment! Regards flyer1.
Congratulations on getting your 'puff of smoke' image published in today's issue of Flight International! I knew I would not be alone in appreciating the point you were making! It was worth posting it after all! Well done flyer1!
Thank you for your comment, it is much appreciated. I agree 101% with your posts in Forums under U.K. Defence Cuts. I uploaded the 'smoke' image again because of it being in Flight International, but I could have chosen a Better image. Happy New Year.
