Boeing Stearman known as the Kaydet Primary Trainer in the 30s 40s. It had a 220hp Lycoming Radial engine. Later modifications had the 450hp Pratt and Whitney engine. There were about 9,783 built, and after the second World War they were found all over the world. A very tough airplane, it needed to be, with very many HARD landings made by student pilots, I can vouch for that!
