4 Demonstration Teams, One Airshow
The Snowbirds, The Red Arrows, The Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels lined up at the static display at the Quebec City Air Show, 2008.
As Quebec City celebrated their 400th Anniversary in 2008, at the Air Show held that year I had an opportunity to see 4 national demonstration teams at one show. It would have been 5 if the Patrouille Acrobatique de France had not cancelled. The weather was not too good the day I attended, with a mix of rain and sunshine.
As for what team flew the best display ?, I will let somebody else be the judge of that. My take is: two teams with trainers (Snowbirds and Red arrows) who did a gracious aerial ballet display. Two teams with fighters (Thunderbirds and Blue Angels) who did an aerial Awe and thunder display.
