F-86  “Hawk One” flies over the Strait of Georgia near Comox, BC.

The Sabre or “Hawk One” is refurbished and repainted in the golden colours of the legendary RCAF Golden Hawks, Canada’s first jet aerobatic demonstration team.  The Hawk One project was created to commemorate Canada’s rich aviation heritage and the Canadian Centennial of flight being celebrated nation-wide in 2009.
