Indian Air Force Spitfire at Planes of Fame Air Show, San Bernadino County, Chino CA.

Built in late 1944 NH749 was shipped to India in July 1945 to serve with the RAF's South East Asia Command (SEAC) squadrons. Rendered surplus to requirements by the Japanese surrender in August 1945 NH749 was placed in storage and sold to the Indian Air Force in late 1947.
