Mosquito Mark 35 VR796, the next one to fly?
Mosquito Mark 35, VR796 is currently under restoration to airworthy by Victoria Air Maintenance Ltd at Victoria International Airport, British Columbia.
The Merlin 114 engines are installed and waiting for the radiators from UK. The lower half of the aircraft has been painted (glossy) the owner wants the whole aircraft that way due to easy maintenance. The markings of the aircraft has been chosen and it will represent a Canadian flown aircraft. More about that later.
First time running of engines are planned for June/July this year, first flight ??? We will keep you updated.
